Trace a hopeful trail of footprints.
From women recyclers in Gambia to small cocoa farmers in the Dominican Republic, Fair Trade brings you closer to the products you eat, wear, and absolutely adore.

A Better Footprint (formerly Worldgoods Fair Trade) is a proud member of the U.S. Fair Trade Federation and Co-op America. We Work directly with many artisan groups, as well as organizations that are members of IFAT, FTF or other labelling organization. Most or all food products for sale through A Better Footprint are Fair Trade Certified by TransFairUSA.

Fair Trade Federation members pledge to:

  • Pay a fair wage in the local context, not only enough to cover material and labor costs, but to improve the standard of living
  • Provide equal opportunities for all people, particularly the most disadvantaged
  • Engage in environmentally sustainable practices
  • Build long-term trade relationships
  • Provide healthy and safe working conditions
  • Provide financial and technical assistance to workers whenever possible

A Better Footprint's Fair Trade and Community Efforts have helped:

  • Reduce unemployment and increase market reach
  • Increase wages and standard of living directly and indirectly for 400 families
  • Send kids to school who were previously child laborers
  • Women and men to open savings accounts
  • Introduce and design new, marketable products
